Harvey Labovitz has more than thirty years experience in the legal community. His primary areas of legal practice include real estate, business securities, secured transactions, business litigation, elder law, corporate and partnership law.

He is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators, American Arbitration Association, served as Chairman of the Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas Arbitration Panels, and is the former chair of the Ohio Division of Securities, Ad Hoc Committee on Promoters' Compensation in Oil and Gas Programs. He is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association, serving on its bar admissions committee, and the Ohio State and American Bar Associations, with membership in each association's section on real property and on the Ohio State Bar Association's Construction Law Committee.

He was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1969; U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, 1971; U.S. Supreme Court, 1977; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, 1987.

He is a graduate of Miami University where he was a member of Omicron Delta Kappa and the Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley.
