Anthony J. LaCerva litigates and tries complex business cases, including corporate, commercial, intellectual property, professional liability, bankruptcy, governmental, and product liability disputes. He has successfully represented his business clients in federal and state trial and appellate courts across Ohio and the United States. Tony is also experienced in the arbitration and mediation of business disputes and has counseled clients with respect to corporate governance issues, contract negotiations, employment issues, and the protection of intellectual property.

Prior to starting his law practice, Tony served as a law clerk for Judge Robert E. DeMascio, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. He is the Immediate Past President of the Northern District of Ohio Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.

Tony is a life member of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He has been recognized by Inside Business as one of Northern Ohio’s Leading Lawyers (2006, 2007, 2008, 2009) and has been named an Ohio Super Lawyer (2009). Tony sits on the Boards of Directors of The Beck Center for the Arts and The Bellflower Center for Prevention of Child Abuse.
