He was admitted to Ohio and U.S. District Court bars in 1986; the U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, 1987; U.S. Supreme Court, 1990; Pennsylvania, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, and U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, 1995; and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, 1998 and Eleventh Circuit, 2004.

He attended the University of Massachusetts and is a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College (B.A., 1981) and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law (J.D., 1985) where he was a member of the Moot Court Board of Governors. <back
