The firm was founded in April 1979. Prior to its formation, its partners and associates had extensive experience as business attorneys in Northeastern Ohio, having been partners and associates in other business law firms in the Cleveland, Ohio area. Since the formation of the firm, both the international and national directories and rating services for attorneys have granted the firm the highest ratings available, both for legal expertise and for the faithful adherence to the highest professional standards of ethics, reliability and diligence.

The firm consists of six partners, namely Thomas J. Scanlon, Tim L. Collins, Harvey Labovitz, M. Scott Wilson, Craig P. Kvale and Anthony J. LaCerva. Each of the partners has been engaged in the general practice of law in Northeastern Ohio for many years.

The partners and associates of the firm provide clients with aggregate experience in the practice of business law which exceeds one hundred years.
